Well, if you're using references when drawing or just trying to "copy" what they drew, it will most likely not look exactly the same since every one has their own style, level of drawing, and just talent. All artists draw somewhat differently, so just find a style you're comfortable drawing with. And remember, you're not striving to be an exact replica of a certain artist. Be unique, be you. If you're trying to draw realistically, it will look very different compared to anime (simply because people do not look like that) Traditional and digital art are two different things, but have the same concept. Personally, I prefer drawing traditionally, but drawing digitally opens a lot more options for you. Just keep practicing and improving.

I suggest drawing at least every day. Keep a sketchbook and have it with you so you can draw in any possible free time you get. If you strive to improve and work hard every day, you will improve, trust me. Drawing realistically includes anatomy, proportions, and much more. With anime, you have much more freedom since you can exaggerate features. As to what you should try, just do whatever you please! You can even draw in between. Preference ranges to person to person, so just do whatever you want when it comes to coloring. However, color can make a drawing more striking. There's really nothing more I can say but to just keep practicing!

Thoughts on this? Thanks
